Still Kicking.
Posted in Internet, Life with tags poa, work on December 13, 2008 by The Mike HaynesJust checking in to let the 3 people who read this blog that I’m still alive and kicking. I had a bit of an issue today with some stuff on POA but I think, for the most part, things have been settled and seem to be back on track.
I’ll have a better update in a couple of days once I wrap up a web design project I’ve been working on and things cool off around here a bit.
MARC ZOMBERG TOLD ME TO TELL YOU SOMETHING!1
Posted in General, Internet with tags facebook, idiots, Internet on September 23, 2008 by The Mike HaynesIf any of you out there have a Facebook, it’s more than possible you’ve seen a couple people join a group called “IF 10 MILLION JOIN MARC ZOMBERG WILL BRING BACK THE OLD FACEBOOK!“. Worse yet, maybe you suddenly lost a couple braincells and joined the group yourself.
There’s so much wrong with the group, I can’t even begin to describe it… but I’ll give it a shot. Here’s the description provided by the group’s creator Jakob, complete with witty remarks and petty insults to both the group members and Jakob himself by yours truly:
Today I received a message from Marc Zomberg the founder of the greatest company and he told me to make this group he wants to know how many people really want the old facebook back, so he could bring it back.
That’s interesting, Jakob. Why the heck does Facebook have a feedback section at all when they have you on their mailing list? Also, who exactly is Marc Zomberg? Could you possibly be referring to Mark Zuckerberg, the creator of Facebook? Seeing as you and him are such good pals, I figured you’d at least be able to spell his name right. Oh well. That’s an honest mistake.
Now we need everyone who want the old facebook back to join this group and invite everyone because he gave us only 20 days to do this.
Makes sense. Time is money and Marc is on a deadline.
Thanks for creating this group Jakob. I needed a good laugh.
If you want to see the group for yourself, check it out here. The comments have been turned off so that people couldn’t actually call Jakob and his band of idiots on their stupidity.
At least that’s what I assumed.
